This is a fully docd buildsheet and P-O-P U- code 1972 442 Convertible. It really does not get much better than this with the numerous options that this one is loaded with and a factory Big Block …… WOW !! The option sheet had to be nothing but checkmarks – pwr locks and windows tilt wheel pwr drivers seat rally dash am/fm 8-track a/c light group very rare shoulder belts front and rear bumper guards and a dual gate shifter. The restoration ( with only 20 miles to get the bugs out ) was a frame off with everything being mostly NOS parts . The motor ( 4 hrs break in time ) tranny rear ( 12 bolt with W27 cover ) and front end ( freshly aligned ) are all rebuilt. The motor is date correct and is built to have an estimated 450 HP and enough torque to pull down a barn. The a/c was converted to 134 and along with everything else clock key buzzer radio 8 track etc. all work. The paint panel fit and finish chrome and trim accented with a metal base RAM AIR Hood and rear wing make this a show stopper. We here at EMC have been around Muscle Cars for a long time and have not ever seen a paint code 36 Radiant Green White Interior White Top optioned out drop top 442 like this one. FYI it runs and drives better than it looks. It is not an X- CODE W-30 – the emblems and side stripes were added to give the car more curb appeal. It would not take much to bring this car to concours level if the new owner chose to do so in our humble opinion.
